Hi, I’m Annika — a sustainability communicator, strategist, and community-builder who thrives where creativity meets systems change.

After almost a decade of crafting narratives and shepherding  projects across the globe for NGOs, universities, and mission-driven businesses, I created EcoShift Consulting Services to translate bold sustainability ideas into tangible, energising actions for SMEs.

I currently offer my services to businesses that want to improve their impact on the people and planet, or are looking for improvements in communicating the sustainability work that they are already doing.

I have always been incredibly passionate about environmental activism, even as a child. So it was only natural for me to choose a career in this industry. I have since completed two sustainability-related MScs, and worked in several countries on topics such as sustainable urban development, reforestation and eco-education and transformative sustainability.
